Lumines Remastered

It’s been confirmed that Lumines Remastered has sold best on Nintendo Switch. In an interview with The Game Informer Show podcast, Enhance Games producer Tetsuya Mizuguchi revealed that the Switch release of the symphonic puzzler outsold its PS4 and Xbox One ports “by a mile”. This was followed up with a simple “yes” from fellow Enhance producer Mark MacDonald.

Oprainfall gave Lumines Remastered a glowing review this past July, saying, “the Nintendo Switch is undoubtedly the way to play Lumines Remastered.” Besides being able to play wherever, whenever, exclusive to Switch owners is the ability to play with eight Joy-Cons in Trance Mode for a unique HD Rumble experience.

Lumines Remastered is far from the only Switch sales success. Of the many, games that saw tremendous success on Nintendo’s platform include Dead Cells (outselling PS4 four to one), Disgaea 5 (double the amount on PS4), and Sonic Mania Plus (over half of total sales across all platforms).
