Well folks, I’m officially back from my mini vacation in NYC to bring you another Nintendo Download! I got to do lots of fun and nerdy things there, including hitting up the official Nintendo NY store (where I got a cool shirt, yet found no cool amiibo), going to a Barcade with fellow oprainfall buddy Justin, and even finding a great artbook at Kinokuniya! But this article isn’t about me, it’s about video games out this week, including one many have been hotly anticipating for what feels like forever. Additionally, it has some new info for the Nintendo Switch Online service, sales and more. So let’s make up for lost time and check out some great games.

Nintendo Download | TWEWY: Final Remix

After waiting for 10 years, I truly thought The World Ends With You would never get a sequel. And while it’s true that Final Remix isn’t a sequel, being more of a remixed and updated version of the DS classic, I’m still incredibly excited to catch up with Neku and company starting tomorrow. If you never tried the original game, I highly recommend you check out TWEWY: Final Remix starting tomorrow. Also releasing tomorrow is a Gamecube classic going mobile. Yes, Luigi’s Mansion is coming to the 3DS, and it looks like a delightful port. While it mostly looks the same, it has a 2 player mode that looks like fun. Besides that, fans of flight games can also pick up Starlink: Battle for Atlas Digital Edition starting next week. Or if you feel like being a bad guy, you might enjoy LEGO DC Super-Villains, which also releases next week. With those out of the way, let’s move onto more information about changes to the Nintendo Switch Online.

The following games have been added to the Nintendo Switch Online service, as extra incentive to try it out:

NES Open Tournament Golf – Challenge another player in Stroke, Match and Tournament modes. Play on three fantasy courses in the USA, the UK and Japan, and try to win a million dollars. Make sure you keep an eye on the wind and distance to the hole before selecting your club, or else you’ll be racking up some high scores … which is exactly what you don’t want to do in this game.

Solomon’s Key – As Dana, a skilled and talented hero, you must strategically maneuver through over 40 stages using mysterious block-creation skills and other magical powers. Free the captive Fairy in each stage by finding the Bell, and escape by grabbing the Magic Key. Use quick thinking and magical firepower to discover hidden items and evade numerous enemies as you race against the clock.

Super Dodge Ball – In the Super Dodge Ball game, you take control of the USA Dodge Ball team and travel the world in an effort to become the best dodge ballers around. Step onto playing fields in countries all over the globe and use a combination of normal and super shots to help take down your opponents. But be careful, as some destinations have surfaces that can affect your footing.

Next up, since the Game Guide is working, let’s check out some sales. If you like mayhem, you might enjoy Vertical Drop Heroes HD (Switch) for $6.99; if you like the idea of ninja rabbits, you should try Ninjin: Clash of Carrots (Switch) for $11.24; for platforming action, Super Chariot (Switch) is half off at $9.99; for a truly strange title, look no further than Burly Men at Sea (Switch) for $7.49; for an atmospheric story, Old Man’s Journey (Switch) is a steal for $7.99; or if you prefer puzzles, TorqueL – Physics Modified Edition (Switch) is cheap at $4.99; for the fan of Metroidvania games, AeternoBlade (Switch) is only $8.99; fans of buddy games are sure to enjoy Yooka-Laylee (Switch) now for $29.99; for celebrating Halloween early, there’s always The Count Lucanor (Switch) for $5.09; for a platformer with really unique controls, I suggest you try forma.8 (Switch) for $4.99; if you crave Castlevania but want it cheaper, there’s always Citadale – The Legends Trilogy (Wii U) for $5.40; or for a charming look to the past, look no further than Gurumin 3D: A Monstrous Adventure (3DS) for $9.99; or for a weird take on Bomberman, there’s Psycho Pigs (3DS) for $3.97; and lastly, for a really unique puzzle platformer, I highly recommend Polara (3DS) for $2.50. The other one is Warriors Orochi 4, which we will also be reviewing. Now for the rest of it.
