Child of Light

Ubisoft has announced that it will release both Child of Light: Ultimate Edition and Valiant Hearts: The Great War to Nintendo Switch. While both game feature gorgeous hand-drawn visuals the similarities stop there. Child of Light is a turn-based RPG that tells the coming-of age story of Princess Aurora as she and her comrades take on the Dark Queen of Lemuria. This game can be played with a friend who can control the fairy Igniculus with a single Joy-Con. It will be out on October 11.

Valiant Hearts on the other hand is a story-driven game that tells the tale of five strangers and their trusty dogs as they face great peril and solve puzzles during the first World War. The game is completely compatible with the Switch touch screen and will be available November 8.

While Child of Light made it to Wii U this will be the first time Valiant Hearts will be playable on a Nintendo System. It’s nice to see Ubisoft showing these two gems some love.
