Spider-Man on the PS4, developed by Insomniac Games, is shaping up to be very interesting. The game looks to play similarly to the older games, particularly the ones based on the Sam Raimi films. But this title also seems to be taking cues from the acclaimed Batman: Arkham series as well with how combat and stealth works with its own Spidey twist. At San Diego Comic Con, a new story trailer was unveiled that showed off some of Spider-Man’s rogues gallery that will be appearing in the game and also other characters like Silver Sable. Though we don’t know the full story, namely the entire premise and how some of the cutscenes in the trailer will truly play out, this may not be the standard Spider-Man story.
The trailer can be seen below:
Spider-Man will release on September 7th exclusively on PlayStation 4. There is a Collector’s Edition for $159.99 MSRP and also a special PS4 console bundle.
