The 73rd volume of Gintama, the long running manga epic by the hands of Hideachi Sorachi revealed that the anime adaptation of the series will return this summer on July 8th. The anime is currently in the “Silver Soul Arc” which is said to be the final arc of the manga. The anime adaptation of the arc started back in January but went on hiatus on March 25th after episode 353 aired. Rock group SPYAIR will be working on the new opening song for the series’ return.
