Entergram have announced that Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Hou is coming to the Nintendo Switch in Japan on July 26th in this week’s issue of Weekly Famitsu. It will cost 7,980 yen and will include all 19 chapters that are in the main story.
Furthermore, the three additional scenarios “Outbreak,” “Outbreak Kamikanshi-hen,” and “Hinamizawa Teiryuujo” will be releasing on consoles for the first time in this Switch release. Tomozo handled the character design for “Hinamizawa Teiryuujo.”
In TV mode, the game will be in full HD. The Switch version will also include “Quiz Oyashiro Ver. 2018” as well as all the theme songs and background music from the other console releases of this critically acclaimed visual novel series.
