Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux will be available for 3DS on May 15th in North America and May 18th In Europe. This enhanced version of Strange Journey features additional story content and a new character. New endings have also been added, and the interface has been modernized. Strange Journey is a bit different from other games in the series, as it makes use of a “Demon Co-op System” instead of relying on the traditional “Press Turn System.” This was found in Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne-, and this means that you will not earn additional turns when exploiting an enemy’s weakness. The demons sharing the same alignment will instead perform a bonus attack if you exploit a demon’s weakness. It also explores a different setting, as the atmosphere has a science-fiction tone not found in the other series entries.
