With the start of the Steam Winter Sale yesterday, D3 Publisher Inc. has several of their titles on sale for discounts ranging from 20-40% off now. The Steam Winter Sale of 2017 ends on January 4th. Their press release highlights three of their Steam titles that are currently on sale. You can check them all out below and jump to their respective Steam pages if you like:


EARTH DEFENSE FORCE 4.1 The Shadow of New Despair

In the Steam Winter Sale, this game’s normal price of $49.99 is down 40% to $29.99. The Earth Defense Force (EDF) is locked in a battle for the future of the planet with a merciless swarm of aliens known as the ravagers. With an arsenal of over 800 weapons, you can take on over 80 missions as one of four classes, and even team up with a buddy.

This game’s normal price of $39.99 is slashed 40% in the winter sale to $23.99. Two sets of buxom vampire sisters battle through an undead invasion. They can occasionally transform into a demon for a short burst of power and speed in more than 12 levels of real-time, gruesome swordplay.

This game’s normal price of $34.99 has been reduced by 20% to $27.99 in the Steam Winter Sale. Nightshade is a romance visual novel created in a collaboration between D3 Publisher and Red Entertainment. The romance involves Ninjas in the Sengoku Period, with character design and illustrations by Tieta, the popular illustrator.


About Michael Fontanini

Michael is a veteran gamer in my early 30s, who grew up around video games, with fond memories of the oldies like the NES and SNES. He loves Nintendo but also plays a lot of games on his PC. Michael also enjoys going for walks or bike rides, and loves animals.

Michael is also a computer programmer. This started with a toy he got as a kid called PreComputer 1000 that was made by V-Tech. It had a simple programming mode which is what started him down the road of being a programmer! Michael can program in BASIC, Visual Basic, C++, C#, and is familiar with Java and Lua Script.

Putting programming and gaming together, Michael became a hobbyist game developer which may give him some good insights on game development! Most recently, he has been playing with the free version of the Unity engine (a powerful and easy-to-use game engine).

I love Nintendo but I also play a lot of game's on PC, many of which are on steam. My favorite Nintendo game's include Zelda, Metroid, and Smash Bros to name a few. On PC I love the Half-Life games, as well as most all of the Source Engine games just to name a few.
