Episode 05: The Strongest of Bonds

Welcome back to more Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash!

Last time, found out that Miyabi has one of the hardest jobs in Senran Kagura. Imu and Murasaki begin quarreling over a misunderstanding and Ryōna set a stage on fire. Things are about to get a lot worse though.

As her team’s morale and relationships begin to fall apart around her can Miyabi hold things together? Or, will the man pulling the strings splinter Hebijo’s Elite apart.

It’s time to lay it all on the line as Miyabi shows what it truly means to be a leader. Get ready for the gigantic climax to the Hebijo Arc in today’s episode!

Additional Thoughts and Notes

My mind is still broken from that final fight. O_o

Seriously though that was an amazing fun idea for a boss fight. Great job by the development team there. I’m still utterly confused why I could not get to that second-floor tier. Still, at least I managed to pull it off.

One thing that does bug me I forgot to mention is that we don’t actually learn the identity of the shadowy figure here. Hopefully, we find out in another storyline or the “Splash Arc” once it’s unlocked.

As a whole though, this was a wonderful storyline and I’m thrilled to see Miyabi showing her leadership skills. She’s the leader of Hebijo for a reason after all and this really proved it. She truly cares for her team and is willing to shoulder the burden when their eccentricities get the better of their unity.

Now if only her and Imu would get together. Maybe next game?
