Steins;Gate Elite

Steins;Gate is getting a remake…sort of.

Titled Steins;Gate Elite, this new version uses clips from the entire anime series to provide a “full animation adventure game.” Extra animation is being created by the original production company, WhiteFox, for routes not seen in the show.

Steins;Gate Elite

Steins;Gate Elite is scheduled to release in Japan in spring 2018 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch. The original game released in 2009 and is available on multiple platforms. The game received an anime series along with a movie, Steins;Gate: The Movie − Load Region of Déjà Vu. The game also received a sequel visual novel in 2015 called Steins;Gate 0. An anime is currently in production for that game as well.

I cant wait, tho I’m really curios just how much content they added (ps please make the picture click-able for the site, I’ve clicked so many times on the pictures by mistake, instead of the title of the article)

    • Miqubi

they didn’t add any new content story-wise, the “new content” is whitefox animating whatever wasn’t animated in the anime

this is exactly the same steins;gate but animated

It looks pretty bad, I’m not a fan. The only animated vn I’ve played was school days, but that one is pretty old, it was an interesting idea at the time, but it does not fit well with something like Steins Gate…

Not a fan of visual novels, but they seem to be better on handhelds like the Vita and the Switch.
