DanMachi Memoria Freese Crunchyroll

It was recently announced that Crunchyroll will begin to localize and distribute mobile games based off of select anime. The first game set to be released is DanMachi MEMORIA FREESE which was released back in June in Japan. A short trailer which explains the game’s basics was released. No other games have been mentioned at this time.

The anime based titles are set to make appearance sometime next year.

So what do all of you think? Anything you’re hoping to see out of this?

About Walter P

Plays too much, but still has too many games to finish. Will play any type of game and will watch anything, so is of course not good at being productive. Loves anything crazy.

A gacha game? I hope this is not all their games will be as that would be disappointing. Seems like an easy thing to get into as I imagine console game development is way more expensive and competitive, and there is the potential of huge money here. I really like the light novels of this series but am not a fan of the gambling aspects of these games.

I hope they bring console games later. Danmachi has a game being developed by 5pd. maybe they can bring over.

I look forward to anything they bring over to be unavailable in my region (just like what I want to watch)

Will they be a good localizer and not censor plus keep the script as close to the original as possible or will they go the Treehouse/NISA route.
