Kud Wafter Anime Announcement

After announcing in January that an anime adaptation of Little Busters! spin-off Kud Wafter was “financially planned”, VisualArt’s has made some new announcements about the project on its English Facebook page. The publisher announced that the series will be crowdfunded through Japanese site Campfire, which will only be available to Japanese backers. The campaign will begin on July 19. VisualArt’s also announced that the Kud Wafter anime will be animated by J.C. Staff, the same studio that produced the Little Busters! adaptation.

No firm statement was made about whether crowdfunding will be available in the west, other than that the company is “considering their options and will keep us up to date”.

The post marks the adaptation as part of the 10th anniversary of Little Busters!, after teasing in an interview with Kazamatsuri that announcements for the anniversary were in the works.
