ARMS, one of the main games featured in this week’s Nintendo Direct, revealed the new martial arts and ramen fighter Minmin. She fights using her ramen-style noodle arms, with her left arm being able to transform into a dragon with a powerful but slow-charging fiery blast. She also has the ability to kick enemy attracts while jumping.
While Minmin was the only new character officially revealed, she wasn’t the only new character in the Direct footage. Eagle-eyed fans were able to point out the analysis enthusiasts over at Gamexplain that 2-4 other new fighter can be found from character art in one of the menus. Nintendo stated in the direct that more about of the upcoming game would be revealed in the coming weeks.
Also revealed during the Direct were 2-on-2 battles for the upcoming fighting game. It featured only a bit of gameplay and not many details, but it’s a potentially fun new battle option for the upcoming new IP. Finally, Nintendo reveal new Neon Yellow Joy-Con controllers and Joy-Con battery extenders. Both new accessories for Nintendo Switch will be released alongside ARMS on June 16.
