If you’ve wanted to join in on a fighting game tournament and will be in California next February here’s something for you. Aksys Games will be presenting Anime 2017 which features fighters that mostly have a bit of an anime theme. Here’s the press release from them.


Aksys Games and Fighting Gamers at UCI proudly present Anime Ascension 2017! Anime Ascension will be held February 18-19 at the University of California Irvine Student Center Ballroom C&D. Anime Ascension is a large format fighting game tournament event dedicated to providing the premiere anime fighting game experience. Event Details

When: February 18-19 (Saturday and Sunday, 8am-10pm)
Where: University of California Irvine Pacific Ballroom C&D
Games: Guilty Gear Revelator, BlazBlue: Central Fiction, Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late, King Of Fighters 14, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round.
Pot Bonuses:  $5k for Arc System Works games.
Entrance Fees: $40 Venue fee plus $10 per main game entered. 
Early bird special $20 venue fee until 12/8/16!
