After being teased in the September 1st Nintendo 3DS Direct, the Animal Crossing Direct is set to air tomorrow morning at 7:00 AM PT/10:00 AM ET. The Direct will cover the upcoming update to the 3DS best-seller Animal Crossing: New Leaf. The update will bring support of the Animal Crossing amiibo and cards to the 3DS game, which will allow you to move specific villagers to your town for the first time in series history. A photo feature utilizing the 3DS camera will also allow you to take photos of your amiibo villagers in the real world. Keep in mind that the Nintendo Direct website indicates that this Direct will only cover the 3DS title, so don’t expect any news on future entries in the series.
