While the internet is still reeling from the announcement of the Nintendo Switch last week, another Nintendo system, the NES Classic Edition, is set to release in a few weeks. While the controller packed with the system is faithful to the original, EMiO is set to release a pair of controllers that will give the tiny NES even more retro flare. ‘The Edge’ joystick seen above very much resembles the NES Advantage controller, giving arcade games like Gradius and Pac-Man a more classic feel. ‘The Edge’ gamepad down below is basically a turbo NES controller that allows more rapid-fire button presses for games like Double Dragon 2 and Mega Man 2. It’s cool to see these types of accessories available for a plug-and-play console.
