SaGa Scarlet Grace made a good showing at the Sony TGS keynote conference today. There was a fantastic new trailer, which we will post when it becomes available online. Additionally the game finally has a release date, December 15, 2016 on the PlayStation Vita in Japan.

This series has a bit of a contentious history in the United States, so it is unknown whether it will be localized outside of Japan. The last SaGa game that I played was SaGa Frontier, and it was a rather disappointing experience. However, the old GameBoy ones, titled Final Fantasy Legend in the US, are some of my favorite games on that console. So here’s to hoping that this one will live up to that legacy, and we’ll keep you updated at Operation Rainfall.

About William Haderlie

Born in the 1970's, I've been an avid participant for much of video game history. A lifetime of being the sort of supergeek entrenched in the sciences and mathematics has not curbed my appreciation for the artistry of video games, cinema, and especially literature.
