Capcom| Monster Hunter

Over the last years, Monster Hunter series has met a nice success in Europe, and in the U.S.A. The series has become one of Capcom’s major series on the 3DS. Monster hunter 4 sold more than 4 millions units worldwide and was the first game of the series to sell more than one million physical copies in Europe and USA. Capcom has just confirmed they are working on a new Monster Hunter games in order to “aggressively” increase sales by selling more mainline games.

This should be a good news for Monster Hunter fans.Let us just hope this strategy doesn’t come at the cost of quality and that it won’t impact negatively the franchise. Other titles considered to be part of Capcom’s strategy are Resident Evil 7 and Dead Rising 4. No platform nor release date have been communicated for this new Monster Hunter game, so we don’t know if it will launch on 3DS or on the upcoming NX.
