Severed

Severed, a game we at Operation Rainfall enjoyed quite a bit, will be hitting the Wii U on September 22. The game will also hit the Nintendo 3DS soon afterwards, but an exact date hasn’t been specified. The news comes from a press release from the developer, Drinkbox Studios.

To celebrate the Wii U release, Severed will be featured in Nintendo’s #Nindies Summer Jam event. The feature showcases other games that inspired Severed, along with giving the game a 10% discount of $13.49 for its first week.

Drinkbox Studios describes Severed:

In Severed, players use swipe-based touch controls to solve puzzles, find secrets and battle with a host of disturbing monsters, including giant floating skull wizards and beasts made of crows. During the journey, players unlock new abilities, ascend an RPG-style upgrade tree, and uncover the mysteries of the dark fantasy universe Sasha finds herself in.

If you’d like to learn more about Severed, you can visit the game’s website or check out Drinkbox Studios’ Facebook or Twitter pages.
