Persona 5 the Animation

On Friday, a new commercial premiered for the anime special Persona 5 the Animation – The Day Breakers-.

Along with previewing the characters, the commercial mentioned that the anime special will premiere September 3rd at 7 p.m. and will last 55 minutes. However, the first half will consist of cast and staff interviews while the second is the actual anime.

The anime special is being animated by A-1 Pictures, the company responsible for Brotherhood: Final Fantasy. However, the game itself will have anime cutscenes created by Production I.G.

Persona 5 doesn’t release long after the special, shipping on Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 on September 15th in Japan. Furthermore, the game releases in the Americas and Europe on February 14th, 2017.
