God Eater 2 Rage Burst

Bandai Namco America has posted a new gameplay trailer of God Eater 2: Rage Burst on their YouTube channel. The trailer shows off some frantic combat action in that buttery smooth framerate provided by the PlayStation 4.

The game will release on PlayStation 4 both digitally and physically on August 30th, as well as digitally for the PlayStation Vita and on Steam. Pre-order bonuses include free DLC costumes from Sword Art Online, Tales of Zesteria, Tokyo Ghoul, and Assassination Class Room. PlayStation 4 and Steam users that pre-order will receive God Eater: Resurrection free as well.

About Steve Baltimore

Steve started with oprainfall not long after the campaign moved from the IGN forums to Facebook. Ever since, he has been fighting to give all non-mainstream RPGs a fair voice. As the site admin, he will continue to do this and even show there is value in what some would deem "pure ecchi." He loves niche games and anime more than anything... well, except maybe Neptune.

I think the combat speed is what sets the series apart from other games in the monster hunting genre.

Also amazingly there is a physical Vita release of the game here in Europe. I’ve preodered both versions for that sweet cross save.

I’m surprised Europe is getting the physical version over us. Interesting.

It really is weird, especially given how stingy Bandai have been with physical Vita releases lately.
