PS Plus Monthly Feature Image

It is that time of the month again, and we are featuring the free games that come with your PlayStation Plus subscription. Here is the overall trailer, and I will go into the individual games after.

PlayStation 4 Games

Furi

For many people the next title will be the highlight of the month’s releases. But for me, this is the really exciting one. This is a very new indie game by some prolific people within the game industry. And from concept to realization this has been a very fascinating one that I’ve long wanted to try.

Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell

Most of the people who would already own this one likely do, although perhaps for previous generation systems. But in case you don’t own it, or have been living under a rock, this one is like Grand Theft Auto only turn the humor and ridiculous situations up to 11.

PlayStation 3 Games

Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood

Not quite up to the standard that Red Dead Redemption set, but still a great game in it’s own right. This one definitely performed below the audience that it deserved to have. Westerns are a very niche genre these days, but a good game is a good game.

Fat Princess

A very well loved small co-op game that carved out quite a fan base for itself. It was successful enough to warrant a sequel, which came out last December, although many people consider this version of the game to be superior.

PlayStation Vita

Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines

This is another amazing game in this month’s lineup. A lot of people missed out on this one last year due to a name that wasn’t widely recognized. But this is a classic turn based RPG with the art style of Okami. Trust me, this is right up the alley of much of the Operation Rainfall.

Prince of Persia: Revelations

Possibly the weakest entry of the month, but still a good game. This title released on the PSP originally, and it performs better on the PS Vita. Given how long it’s been since we’ve seen a Prince of Persia entry, though, it still be a welcome release for many.

PlayStation Plus Extra

As a bonus this month, PlayStation Plus subscribers will have early access to the Paragon beta before it hits Open Beta on August 16.
