Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE | oprainfall

The fantastically odd collaboration between Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei, Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE, is coming out next week on June 24. In anticipation, Nintendo did a stream of the gameplay and I must admit visually it looks utterly fantastic, despite any concerns about censorship.

Some of the cooler aspects of the game shown were the weapon fusion and vast array of abilities at your disposal. Also, they showed off the awesome new version of Virion, so I’m officially interested. Regardless, there is a bunch of great images on display for this beautiful looking game, as well as the official trailer. Give it a look and see if you’re interested in trying out Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE!

About Josh Speer

Josh Speer is addicted to two things in equal measure : Books and Videogames. He has a degree from the University of Washington in English with an emphasis on writing. He joined Operation Rainfall last year while following it on Facebook. His two giant life goals are to write his own series of fantasy / science fiction novels and to get into the creative side of the video game industry. He is beyond pleased to now have his proverbial foot in the door thanks to the opportunity provided by Oprainfall!

I do agree. That’s why I still want to buy it – used.

    • Solbasa

I think the gameplay looks rock-solid. It’s a shame that the censorship had to happen, because it really killed what otherwise will likely be a good game

    • V for Vendetta

I agree. I was looking forward to getting this game but Social Justice Extremists (SJWs) and the PC Dogma have ruined all hype for me with all this censorship nonsense. Don’t believe me? They just censored a wedding dress. A WEDDING DRESS!?

I suggest we boycott this game altogether. If you still plan on buying the SJE version of this game, please wait for a used copy so NoA doesn’t get any of our money.

This censorship is getting out of hand and there’s only one way to deal with SJWs and the PC Dogma:

  • Your Lie Is Showing!

Somebody PLEASE tell me what censorship “concerns” you have after watching this stream? Tsubasa’s costume looks exactly like it does in the JP version, cleavage and all. She’s not wearing a shirt as shown in the PAX trailer. I can’t confirm if posters have been removed or not, but I think those are customized by the player anyway as Istuki acts as a sort of “director” with the studio.

It looks like, to me, there were multiple submissions to the ratings board, and the “safer” submission was used for PAX. As is fairly typical! Other PAX rumors proven FALSE include (from Xenoblade X):

Lin Lee aged up from 13 to 15.
    Religious references removed.
All swimsuit options removed from Lin Lee.
All swimsuit options modified for all other characters.

The fact that you are STILL referencing PAX rumors after how dubious and utterly FALSE they have proven in the past shows this sites stilted views!
