DrinkBox Studios is bringing their indie hit Severed to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this summer.

It was announced via IGN’s livestream showcasing Nintendo Wii U/3DS indie titles, where a trailer was shown at the end. There will be cross-buy between the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS versions. There is also off-TV play present in the Wii U version.

Severed was previously a PS Vita exclusive which released in April this year va PSN. We reviewed it by the way and we liked it.

You can watch the trailer below.

Severed is coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this summer via the eShop.

The game makes sense for the Wii U, but I feel the 3DS screen may be a bit too small for the precision combat.

  • Panpopo

This is really cool for Wii U owners. Seriously check it out if it looks somewhat interesting to you. The review on this site gives pretty good information.

When I first saw this game I kept thinking it would work great on a 3DS 😀

  • Tiredman

I will snag it on wii u. Always enjoyed watching the trailers for it.

I was hoping this would make it to the Wii U. Guacamelee was awesome, and this game looks great. Cross-buy is a very cool bonus too.
