Summon Night 6 Fight | summon night 6

Summon Night 6: Lost Borders will be localized by the Gaijinworks and released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in North America, South America, and Europe in early 2017.

The company has announced on their official website that it was all because of fan support of Summon Night 5 that led to the decision. Additionally, they write this about the game:

Summon Night 6: Lost Borders weaves an emotional tale of friendship and discovery that begins in the sparsely populated “cocoon world” of Fillujah, where the three main characters (Raj, Amu and Ist) live in virtual isolation. Each has a single companion, a flying sidekick with an amazing special power, and they are all surprised when dozens of strangers begin to suddenly appear—literally falling out of the clear, blue sky. Lost Borders can be played and enjoyed without any knowledge of the previous games in the series, but fans will recognize that the mysterious strangers are actually returning characters from all of the mainline Summon Night games.

Summon Night 6: Lost Borders is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita early 2017.

    Welp.

The 5th game’s translation was really crap.

  • No way in hell if this comes to EU. Im still waiting for a game they promised to release in EU 3 years ago

    • j0eeyy_p

I believe you’re referring to a Class of Heroes game? At least with this game getting a regular retail release in the States the option is there that you can import that and play it. That’s what I plan to do, mainly because I do not support digital only releases where a physical is also available.

    • CoH2, CoH2G and Summon Night 5 ;p

3 years of broken promises >_> Unless they actually release Summon Night 5 im not buying Summon Night 6

Summon Night 5 as a physical release in Europe? Probably not going to happen. Their other physical releases were very limited and are no longer available at non-scalper prices. Summon Night 5 is still available at least on Video Games Plus but that’s really it.

    • No.. They have promised to release CoH2, CoH2G and Summon Night 5 __digitally__ in EU like they did in US.

Victor Ireland is a incompetent twat and a liar.

I thought this was good news, however I’ve never played any previously and the comments here concern me.

Digital only for Europe, huh? Bandai haven’t been really nice with their digital only releases over here, especially for the Vita.

    • j0eeyy_p

Bamco didn’t localise this, same with Ray Gigant. I was hoping that they would localise this themselves, but alas not but at least we’re getting a physical option available in America so we can import.

Ignoring PlayStation’s strongest market is a baffling tactic to be honest.

I’ll never order any boxed set from Vic Ireland/Gaijinworks again after what they did with my Summon Night 5 boxed set. After multiple delays & little communication, it finally did ship, but when it arrived I found he didn’t package the boxed set in *anything* as an outer box, just slapped a shipping label overtop of the artwork on the taped shut boxed set itself, and threw it in the mail to get all busted & scuffed up. I can’t even remove the damn shipping label without peeling off the underlying surface, I’ve tried with goo gone & blowdryers.

That was a really jerk move, to save on the cost of a frigging cardboard shipping box. A co-worker’s copy arrived in even worse shape, and he’s boycotted them as well. Not buying from that basement rinky-dink operation again, unless they ever address the problem and find a reliable shipper (or discover the modern miracle of cardboard boxes). On ebay, that would result in a refund, but apparently it’s how things are shipped standard with him, a lot of people were angry.
