During the Rabbit House Tea Party 2016 event, a couple announcements were made for the series. The most interesting being that a special new episode was in the works. Other items mentioned included a Blu-Ray collection of performances by the cast along with CDs of character songs, both of which are planned for this summer. Also this summer there will be a rebroadcast of the second season in Japan.
Unfortunately, there was no mention of a third season coming.
No date has been given for when the new episode is going to be released.
