Record of Agarest War

If you’ve ever played any game from the Record of Agarest War series you know the pain of watching generations of heroines and heroes come and go. UDON has now released the visual book for Record of Agarest War 2 and included in it “three generations of gorgeous heroines, handsome heroes, and might villains”.

Record of Agarest War

UDON has sent this statement about the visual book-via press release:

Collecting the beautiful artwork behind the newest installment in the Record of Agarest War franchise, Record of Agarest War 2: Heroines Visual Bookincludes character designs, rough concepts, pin-ups, creator commentary, and more for all three generations of the game’s diverse, colorful cast of heroes and villains. But much like the UDON – published art book for the original game, Record of Agarest War: Heroines Visual Book, this tome also serves as an ideal companion piece while playing the game itself, including several exhaustive data charts that pull back the curtain on the game’s myriad equipment, items, skills, and prerequisites for viewing every event scene. It’s a gorgeous art book and an essential strategy guide in one elegant package!

Additionally, the company has released some images found in the book as well as stating the book is for mature readers only.

Record of Agarest War 2: Heroines Visual Book is out now at your local book retailer. You can also pick it up Amazon.

Additionally, the company has released some images found in the book
And yet four of the five images presented are from the first game, not from 2. So is the book for Agarest 2 specifically or for the series in general?

you’re right, but that’s from the press release 🙁 i’ll shoot them an email and see what up.

Great stuff. Sadly Record of Agarest War franchise is pretty dead. 🙁

    • azariosays

it’s still alive in my heart 🙁

I do honestly hope they return to it eventually. As I recall there should be two or three major events between Zero and the first game that they could use. I think Agarest 2’s timeline had as much before it as well.
