It seems this writer’s hunch was right as Compile Heart have announced (via Dengeki) that the fourth title in the Genkai Tokki series, Genkai Tokki: Seven Pirates is coming to PS Vita in Japan.

This role-playing title stars several female characters (including the main, Parute) as they go on an adventure for seven ‘treasures.’ Naturally, being a Genkai Tokki game, there will be emphasis on the breasts of the characters and more kinds of fanservice, with designs of the characters done by Motor.

Notably, it would appear that the ‘Bumping Scratch’ minigame this series is renowned for is moving up to full 3D models, as noted by the screenshot below. How this will affect gameplay remains to be seen, as more information is due to be revealed in next week’s Dengeki PlayStation, so best keep an eye out for that.

Thanks for the translation, Gematsu.

This game, and article just censored dignity. And might be illegal in most countries.

Still waiting on the Asia release of Moero Crystal…

    • Sylveria Shini

I know right? They announced that like a year ago. Given how Chronicle turned out.. how hard is it to plug everything in to Google Translate guys!?

    • Mir Teiwaz

Have you ever tried using machine translations for Japanese? It’s terrible.

    • Sylveria Shini

Did you play Moero Chronicles? It was littered with grammatical and spelling errors. I’m not exaggerating much when I say just plug it in to a translator program and the result wont be far off.

    • Mir Teiwaz

I’ve never played it and now I have no reason to even consider it.

    • Sylveria Shini

Eh, It’s still a very solid first person dungeon crawler and I’m exaggerating the quality of the translation. But you are going to see atleast one grammatical or spelling error in basically every exchange of dialogue. Its by no means incomprehensible, but its obvious that did it in one draft then sent it off to production.
