There’s a new trailer out for Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir for the Sony Playstation 4, Playstation 3 and PS vita platforms. Atlus and Vanillaware dropped this one on Youtube today and it gives us an idea of what kind of post game content we can expect upon completing the main campaign. A lot of it’s exactly the sort of thing you would expect, such as a ‘new game plus’ option where you can carry over all your levels and gear to a new, more difficult playthrough of the campaign with new monsters and new weapons added for good measure. Additionally, they’re adding a boss rush mode where you can take on all the game’s big fights in continuous fashion but without checkpoints and item use. Other enhancements for the post game content promise all sorts of challenges to test even the most skilled players.

There’s also going to be a demo for the game in Japan that will give fans a taste of what to expect, but this will not be a progression based demo, as there’s no story content and none of your activity will transfer to the main game. It’s just an opportunity for Vanillaware to show people how they’re coming along and why they should be hyped for this release. Check out the trailer below!

Odin Sphere: Leifthrasir will be available in Japan on January 14, 2016 in Japan and in Spring of 2016 in the west. The game is being developed by Vanillaware and published by Atlus.
