Kizumonogatari is the third volume in Nisio Isin’s Monogatari series of light novels. It was first released in May 2008. The film project will be directed by Akiyuki Shinbo. Shinbo has previously directed most of the Monogatari animes including Bakemonogatari, Nisemonogatari, and Monogatari Series Second Season. Tatsuya Oishi will direct the film alongside Shinbo. Akio Watanabe and Hideyuki Morioka will be in charge of designing the characters. Yota Tsuruoka will direct the sound and Satoru Kousaki will compose the music. The films will be produced at Shaft.
