The latest short to come from ME!ME!ME! director Hibiki Yoshizako has been released called “Girl“. Like the previous release from Yoshizako, this short has been striking up a lot of talk with it’s symbolism and gorgeous visuals. Additionally, Daoko’s voice resonates so well with the imaginary scenery and complicated story structure.

Girl:

Though the short is up for interpretation, I believe this story is of the mind of an imaginary girl as she’s living in a fantastic world. In the real word the girl see’s that what’s making her is the technology that people love and carry with them every day and she infects them. The end is her seeing a boy without a cell phone. Instead, he’s holding a girls hand (who just so happens to be the protagonist from ME!ME!ME!) and she is crushed only to be found by a new prince.

Let me know what you gather from this amazing short and let’s discus in the comments below.
