Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Mikasa vs Taiga

Sega has released the opening movie for the upcoming release of Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax. If you into the anime scene chances are you know quite a few of the characters featured here. Some of them include Kirito and Asuna from Sword Art Online, Taiga from Toradora, Shana from Shakugan no Shana and many others. Here is some more information straight from the press release:

When Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax releases on Oct. 6, here’s the opening movie to go along with it! It shows off the characters from all the various “Dengeki Bunko” lite novels featured in the game:

A Certain Magical Index

Black Bullet
DURARARA!!
Oreimo
Ro-Kyu-Bu!
Shakugan no Shana
STRIKE THE BLOOD
Sword Art Online
The Irregular at Magic High School
Toradora!

And that’s just playable characters! Assist characters add in characters from the following (in addition to the series above!):

Bludgeoning Angel Dokuro-chan
Boogiepop and Others
Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl
Golden Time
Kino’s Travels
Spice and Wolf
The Devil is a Part-Timer!

Those eagle-eyed viewers can spot some of the SEGA-inspired stages too! (Sonic the Hedgehog, Virtua On, Valkyria Chronicles, to name a few!)

Here is the opening movie for your viewing pleasure:

Needless to say I’m pretty excited for this one and cannot wait for October 6th to get here. The game will be released on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita consoles. First run copies will include a soundtrack CD.
