Wow, whoever it was on the show that said” You can stay in your little box.”
Fuck you. I suggest you stay in YOURS asshole.

    • Karli Winata

I’ll have you know good sir. It’s Karli with a K.

    • Wolfe

Thank you for the correction. It’ll make it easier to spot which articles to avoid in the future.

    • Karli Winata

Actually that could be a little difficult seeing how the author’s name isn’t listed on the front page of oprainfall. So any newslink you click on could potentially be mine thereby giving me hits and validating my entire point of view on life, love, video games, and everything in between. But you don’t have to worry. I’m a rather rare presence on the site.
But then again, are you willing to take that chance to accidentally validate me?

    • Wolfe

If you believe something as underhanded as tricking a person into viewing one of your articles is somehow a validation of your hateful rhetoric, then you really do little to disprove the assertions I’ve made about you. In fact, I’d say having to resort to deception simply, what was the word you used? Ah yes, validates my claims.

But that aside, there’s the benefit of Adblock, which I will exercise to ensure you personally contribute nothing in the way of revenue to the site.

It’s a shame really. The panel of contributors here are all friendly and respectful of each other and their readership. You, on the other hand, seem to be a refuge from, complete with chip on the shoulder and an undeserved sense of moral superiority.

And to wrap it up, it’s really telling how little respect you have for both your comrades and your audience that you’d actively seek to drive away readership on a site that’s already built around niche tastes.

Perhaps you should reconsider the strength of that moral fiber you seem to think so well of in yourself. Because it looks somewhat brittle here. Have a lovely day.

    • Karli Winata

A lovely day. What a day! What a lovely day! God I hear Mad Max was a really good movie. Wish I saw that while it was in theaters. Don’t know why I didn’t. I had all the time in the world. And yet I hesitated.
I know it’s not gone. It’ll be out for Blu-Ray sooner or later, yet I can’t shake the feeling like it’s emblematic. Emblematic of how I live. Why do now that I can do later? I put off so many things knowing that I’ve got tomorrow. It’s no big deal.
Sometimes I envy the dying. Their time is limited, but limits can be liberating. Knowing that right here, right now, it may not be the best, but it’s all they’ve got. Only a fool would waste it.
I’ve been a fool wasting all the precious moments I have on not doing the things that need to be done. I have more time than most, but I sit here, hesitating.
It is a lovely day. But I’m sure there’ll be more of it.

your comment will never be deleted off of any of my articles, i don’t believe in hiding what people have to say. thank you for listening, seriously it means a lot to me and i can back your rant whether you believe it to be overreacting or not. I didn’t know it would turn out that way, but i’m glad it shows listeners where each of us stand as people and gamers.

    • Wolfe

I thank you and the other hosts who defended gamers both on this show and throughout the site’s history. There’s few worthwhile outlets that cover the niche market and does so with the same enthusiasm as its fans, and you guys do a great job of that.

And doubly thanks for the freedom to comment freely (albeit very harshly on my part). I know what a risk that can be, and I don’t intend to abuse the opportunity.

    • azariosays

hey, understand that karli is not this site and please continue to use oprainfall as a source of gaming news. this matter is being dealt with. thank you.

    • Wolfe

I have every intention of continuing to visit, rest assured.
Karli has a right to his opinions as well as anyone else, however I feel about them and I certainly don’t want to have compromised his place on the site in any capacity.
