Classic 1987 anime, Red Photon Zillion is receiving a special edition Blu Ray release in Japan. Zillion is an old sci-fi adventure with a where a trio of heroes fight aliens with the help of the “Zillion Weapon System” Some of you old-school SEGA fans may be familiar with this series because it was inspiration for the Light Phaser, which was SEGA’s version of Nintendo’s Zapper for the NES. The anime also received two games which were released on Master System. The box set features all 31 episodes of the series and the 1988 OVA Zillion: Burning Night. It will retail for 38,000 yen or about $306. This set will be released on September 25, 2015.
