Final Fantasy Portal App | E3 2015

During the E3 2015 Square Enix press conference, SE Holdings president and CEO Yosuke Matsuda announced that they would release a Final Fantasy app for English-speaking mobile markets this summer called the Final Fantasy Portal App, which has been available in Japan since February 4, 2015.

The app is essentially an information stream for new developments and releases in the franchise, and also has a mobile version of the popular Triple Triad card game first seen in Final Fantasy VIII, which also recently made its debut in their successful MMO, Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn. And, regarding the MMO, by registering your Square Enix ID with the Final Fantasy Portal App, players of both can use cards they’ve gained on their mobile devices with their FF XIV: ARR Triple Triad deck. Also, points can be earned to obtain various forms of digital content and extra cards.

The Final Fantasy Portal App will be available to English mobile markets this summer.
