Skylanders X Amiibo

A few weeks ago, Activision got a little coy when talking about their new Skylanders game, Superchargers. Something was up but they weren’t very forthcoming with information. Now, we know exactly what they where hiding.

During the Nintendo E3 Digital Event, Reggie Fils-Aimé sat down with a producer for the game and unveiled Skylander Amiibo. Bowser and Donkey Kong will be featured in the game as Skylanders that also have amiibo functionality via a switch in the toy’s base. Both toys will also have vehicles, a new gimmick for this years version.
