Sony had a lot of cool new games to show off during their conference, but they also had some great-looking footage of expected games. Case in point was Street Fighter V, which will be an exclusive for PS4 and PC. They showed some utterly brutal gameplay footage of Bison and others going toe-to-toe in what looked like a train station, and I have never been this fascinated by the looks of a Street Fighter game before. It manages to appear both realistic and cartoony and over-the-top at the same time. As a old fan of the series, I appreciate that duality.
Better yet was the information that Street Fighter V will have some returning fighters in the form of Birdie and Cammy. But by far best of all is the news that they will open up a public beta for the PS4 version of the game starting July 23. Looks like Street Fighter fans have a lot to look forward to very, very soon.
