Mighty No. 9 | Beck statue

As we’ve heard in the last month, Deep Silver is overseeing the publishing of the physical copy of Mighty No. 9 and are releasing a Signature Edition of the game complete with a statuette of Beck, the protagonist of the game. Unfortunately for Wii U fans, only US PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players will be enjoying this version. A tweet went out on 3 June by Deep Silver themselves confirming this:

This is extremely frustrating for fans of Nintendo products as it seems that we’ve seen an unprecedented lack of support of third party support for Wii U since its launch back in 2012. I honestly want to bet that most of the people who want this game are Wii U owners. This game is a spiritual successor to the Mega Man franchise which made its start on the Nintendo Entertainment System. I truly hope that they change their minds on this as this is yet another depressing aspect of being a Nintendo fan. Mighty No. 9 is coming out on PC as well and even PC gamers are getting screwed over by not being included in this.

How do you feel about the Wii U exclusion?  Leave your grievances below.
