Chibi Robo! fans woke up to some interesting news today. During this morning’s Japanese Nintendo Direct, a new Chibi Robo! game was announced for the Nintendo 3DS. The game will be a side-scrolling platformer that sees the titular character using his plug to knock out enemies, destroy blocks and climb up to heights that can’t normally be reached. On top of that, the game will have amiibo functionality for the new Chibi Robo amiibo that will be released.
The Japanese title of the game is Nagenawa Action! Guru Guru! Chibi Robo!, and it will be the first game in the series since last year’s Chibi Robo! Photo Finder. Both the game and the amiibo will be released this Fall in Japan. No word yet on whether either will come West.
