Kingdom Hearts x [chi] | oprainfall

The Kingdom Hearts series is infamous for several things: its increasingly complex plot, its habit of not releasing things overseas and the obscene amount of systems the series is spread across. Kingdom Hearts x [chi] is no exception to any of these categories, being a Japan-exclusive browser game that has only raised more questions about the series. The game, being written alongside Kingdom Hearts III, centers on a player-created protagonist joining one of five animal-themed Unions during the fabled Keyblade War. Fans have been clamoring for it to be released overseas since its March 2013 closed beta.

Finally, fans’ wishes may be coming true. Square Enix’s official German Facebook page posted the following image from the game yesterday:

Translation: “What is going on with the post? Just so, this had to be said.”
Sometime between last night and this morning, however, the post was deleted from their page.

Many predict that Kingdom Hearts x [chi] will be localized as the upcoming Smartphone title teased by series creator, Tetsuya Nomura.
