UPDATE: These DLC are actually out in the West as of right now.

Dead or Alive 5: Last Round | Senran Kagura

The good folks at Koei Tecmo and Marvelous have given Dead or Alive and Senran Kagura fans the best and most natural crossover content in a long time. As of March 24th 2015 in Japan, Dead or Alive 5: Last Round players can now purchase Senran Kagura themed costume packs for all their favorite fighting women to wear while they beat the tar out of each other. And even better, Koei Tecmo has stayed true to the Senran Kagura roots by making the clothes suffer battle damage as the struggle goes on.┬áTake a look at the preview video to see what’s up.

Games Talk has posted a gallery of screenshots giving fans a more detailed look at the new DLC content. Additionally, they provided a link to some more in-depth videos of the new costumes. Dig the awesome remix of the 8 bit Ninja Gaiden theme during the character select screens. Fan service for all!

For PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360, the complete costume set costs 3,428 yen while individual costumes can be obtained for 307 yen. The prices are marginally higher on Xbox One (3,672 yen for the set 324 yen each.)

Let’s hope that we get these amazing costume packs in the west sooner rather than later!
