Vita fans have a lot to be happy about tomorrow. Not only do PS+ members get two free games, but Criminal Girls: Invite Only officially launches for $39.99. While there has been some pre-scandal hounding the upcoming game, many of us at oprainfall think the game looks compelling and fun. Instead of jumping on the negativity bandwagon and making a mountain out of a molehill, we want to give the game a fair shake, much like we did for Conception II.

Given the fact that the game seems to be a mashup of RPG and dating sim that takes place in Hell, it certainly sports an original premise. Furthermore, the chibi tactics style graphics and gameplay I personally find appealing, assuming it’s not too hard to get the girls to follow orders. Which of course alludes to the Punishment aspect of the game, the source of far too much controversy. If each of the girls in the game have distinct and interesting personalities and character arcs, I see no reason why this game shouldn’t be in every Vita owners hands (unless they think any sexuality is a no no).

What it boils down to is each of you has the opportunity to decide whether or not Criminal Girls: Invite Only is for you starting tomorrow. I think it will certainly appeal to fans of Senran Kagura: Bon Appetit and Shinovi Versus, both incredible Vita games. To find out more, feel free to check out the official site.
