Square Enix has been busy releasing screenshots for their upcoming Dragon Quest/Dynasty Warriors hybrid game Dragon Quest Heroes.

The first set of screenshots shows off some of the game’s combat, in particular magic attacks and special abilities from Dragon Quest IV‘s Alena and Kiryl. You can see those in the gallery below.

Another set of screenshots shows off the Airship Batoshie, which is home to standard Dragon Quest establishments such as a Luida’s Bar, where you can swap companions, and Weapon & Armor shops, as well as an Alchemy Pot, which lets you forge items. Check them out in the gallery below.

Dragon Quest Heroes will be released in Japan for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 on February 24. It has not yet been announced in the West, but I think I speak for all Dragon Quest fans when I say I want this localized. If you’re further curious about the game, check out some gameplay footage from Tokyo Game Show, and let us know your thoughts on the game in the comments below.
