There is an image floating around the interwebs that shows what appears to be an advertisement banner for the New 3DS, the kind that would be spotted at a GameStop (which was rumored to be at stores yesterday).
The picture shows the New 3DS, Majora’s Mask 3D, and Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate with the apparent slogan of “Have you seen it?” and “Open a new world of gaming.” It also shows the date of February 13th.
There is no confirmation whether this is real or not, but it looks pretty real to us. Of course something like this is always possible to be faked if somebody puts enough time into it. But with the Nintendo Direct coming tomorrow and a media event after the Direct, signs seem to point to this being true. Especially since we know the New 3DS is incoming. Even Nintendo World Store is having an event tomorrow, for what it’s worth.
