PlayStation Vita | Anniversary Sale

At the PlayStation Experience in Las Vegas a batch of PlayStation Vita games were announced. For starters, Suikoden and Suikoden 2 will be coming to the Vita as PSone classics. This is not a joke: that one PS1 RPG you were too afraid to drop $100+ on is now being made available digitally.  You will be able to download both Suikoden and Suikoden 2 on December 9th.

Before you proceed to scream in excitement, there is more. The upcoming Resident Evil Revelations 2,  Towerfall Ascension, Octodad: Dadliest Catch, Super Time Force Ultra and The Banner Saga are all being released on the Vita in 2015. Speaking of Super Time Force Ultra, it was announced that you will be able to play as Shuhei Yoshida, the President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios. You can see the President in action below:

About Justin Guillou

Justin joined Operation Rainfall after visiting the site numerous times and reading the articles on Xenoblade Chronicles. He enjoys searching for and collecting some of the more obscure video games out there.

  • Cruxis

Suikoden 1 has already been on Vita as a PSone classic for a while

    • Brad Williams

Not exactly. You could download it on the PS3 and transfer it over, but it was not natively supported on the Vita since you couldn’t download it directly.
Also, Suikoden II. All that matters.

  • Pancakes

Any idea if these are also coming out for us in PAL territories?

  • TrueWiiMaster

Will Suikoden 2 be coming to the PS3 as well, or just the Vita?
