David Jaffe took to the PlayStation Blog to give details on the new game from The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, which was announced at the PlayStation Experience.

Titled Drawn to Death, the game is an arena shooter that is completely hand-drawn. The game takes place in the pages of the sketchbook of an artistic teenager, reflecting the violence, passion and just plain weirdness going on inside the young mind.

The gameplay will be a mix of old-school arena shooter and brawler. So says Jaffe:

We want our signature launch mode – a 4 Player Free For All Deathmatch – to be action packed while also giving Players the need and ability to master advanced environment movement, learn and exploit enemy tells, and form clever strategies that pay off in big victories!

On the game’s official website, you can sign up for early access, and if you do so during the PlayStation Experience weekend you will get a rare in-game item.

You can check out the trailer below and let us know what you think in the comments. Drawn to Death will be released for the PlayStation 4.
