If you’re the sort of person who loves filling your bookshelf with gaming-related reading, then you’ll be happy to know that the folks over at Guinness World Records have something new for your collection. The 2015 edition of the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition will be released on November 6th, 2014 in the UK. Amazon has a North American release of the same book listed for November 11th. In a recent press release, Stephen Fall (Senior Managing Editor of the Gamer’s Edition) had this to say about the eighth addition to the series:

“In the all-new Gamer’s 2015 we count down our readers’ favourite games. We cram in facts, figures and features on all aspects of gaming, along with exclusive interviews with leading figures in the industry. We also follow the latest developments in the epic battle of the eighth-generation consoles. And, as always, there are top tips for improving your gameplay. Now in its eighth edition, Gamer’s remains the ultimate videogame guide.”

The 2015 Gamer’s Edition will include a list of the top 50 games, as decided by vote via the Guinness World Record website; tips and tricks to help you break your own world records; video game trivia; and of course, world records covering everything from “largest collection of Tomb Raider memorabilia” (2,383 items) to “longest video game marathon on Minecraft” (24 hours 10 minutes). Check out the Amazon links below if you’d like to preorder your own copy.
