Denpa Ningen no RPG Free! - The Denpa Men Free! | oprainfall

Genius Sonority has announced their latest installment of the Denpa Men RPG series. This new entry, titled Denpa Ningen no RPG Free!, will be a free-to-play entry.

This is the fourth game in the series, which has started to become an annual thing. The first Denpa Men released back in February of 2012 in Japan and later that year in the West as a basic dungeon crawler mixed with augmented reality elements. The second game expanded and added a full world for you to explore. The third game added the ability to sail across a large sea.

So far, we don’t know much about the game. We know that it will be free, but we don’t know if there will be some sort of priced component to it. If it does, my guess is that it will be more like Steel Diver: Sub Wars, where you can access most things in the game but would have to pay full price for it to unlock everything (perhaps having to pay to bring your Denpa Men over from the earlier games). Other than that, there were a couple of things teased in the trailer that was released, which you can watch below.

Denpa Ningen no RPG Free! will release in Japan on July 23, 2014. You can check out the website for the game, although nothing has really been uploaded to it. And while there isn’t a Western localization confirmed yet, you can probably expect it some time next year.
