Good news for Luffy fans! A new One Piece game is headed to PS3, 3DS, Wii U and Vita in Europe and Australia June 27th called One Piece: Unlimited World Red. It will also apparently release in North America July 8th digitally, possibly making it the first game in the series I buy. Featuring beautiful cel shaded style graphics, this game will feature many different types of gameplay and minigames, including fishing, bug catching and lots of multiplayer.

Speaking of which, you can play with up to 3 other friends and converse as you play. Better yet, there is a Battle Colosseum Mode wherein you fight to be the best pirate in the effort to get rewarded with your heart’s desire. Looks like fun to me, even though I’m not a fervent fan of the series. Don’t believe me? Take a look at the trailer below!
