Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to another Monday and another episode of The Downpour Podcast!

Jonathan and Randy return after a week’s hiatus because Jared flew off to foreign lands, and Jonathan caught the flu. The two were feeling a little lonely and felt the best way to show Jared how jealous they were of the trip he’s on was to invite a special community guest to sit down for the whole duration of the show! Welcome back, Chris Garcia from 8bitfix, also known as WildCardCorsair!

The show’s a bit on the shorter side compared to most, but there was still a ton to talk about. What was your favorite news that came out this past Tuesday? The three hosts applauded for Theatrythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, for example.

Chris brought plenty of games to the table, including Conception II and Ragnarok Odyssey ACE. After a certain point in the show, though, he got a little egg on his face. Randy spent this week tackling his backlog. Tune in to hear his final thoughts on Remember Me, as well as his return to Batman: Arkham City and Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 3 Full Burst.

As for Jonathan—well, Golden Sun and Super Mario Bros. 3 came out on the North American Virtual Console since the last time you heard from him. He totally doesn’t try to sell the other two hosts on either game. Totally. In addition to that, find out his handful of latest indie crazes. In anime this week, Dragon Ball Z Kai and brief talk of Sword Art Online, Sailor Moon and JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Enjoy the show this week! As usual, we always appreciate your feedback. Please let us know how you feel in the comments below or by sending an email to
